I purchased a number of new shirts from the shirt maker in London called T.M.Lewin they have been going in Jermyn St for 100 years. As a promotion they where giving away catalogues from 1905 see below. I found on page 6 a very interesting support for the old British officer polo players. "The Stowaway Suspensory" After you read the description look at the materials they where made from. I think 829 a very interesting number most defiantly to be hiden in the back of the closet in barracks. 828 In all natural wool that was most defiantly for the tuff offers with a stiff upper lip. Now we know why they looked so mislabel in the pictures out side barracks. Mike
